Financials Matter

"It's Not Just About Finance"

Why Most People Hate Math

There are a lot of reasons why most people hate math.

But let’s keep it simple.

For the most part, math makes you think.

Ironically (or NOT) most people don’t like to think.

Why?

Mostly because they’re lazy and/or they have a fear/resentment towards math.

And they tend to NOT think in terms of percentages.

As a result, they make mistakes and get taken advantage of especially when it comes to money.

And when you calculate inflation, the losses become even greater.

Example:  A friend of mine was complaining about the price of a bottle of olive oil increasing from $7 to $10 in the last month.

And when I said, “so it increased over 40%?” he said: “No, it went up three bucks.”

Technically we were both right.

But he missed my point entirely.

40% (actually 42.8%) is a whopping increase in price.

But most people will blow it off by saying “well, it’s only a couple of bucks so, no big deal.”

Hating Math

And that’s one reason why most people hate math.

It’s also why they make many mistakes when investing.

READ:  How To Learn From Your Mistakes November 28, 2025 (HERE).

So, in order for investors overcome this fear/resentment of math we publish a Short and Sweet Tips column to make things simple and easy to understand.

And we publish it every month in our “Simplifying Wall Street…In Plain English” newsletter (HERE).

This is not another shameless post Black Friday plug for our newsletter…well…maybe it is…kinda…sorta.

Because we want everyone to learn how to avoid the Wall Street traps at a price that’s easy on the wallet.

More importantly, we explain how things work “behind the curtain” without speaking in a language that’s confusing to the average investor.

Get it (HERE).

And unlike the $7 bottle of olive oil (now $10) that you use and must replace it (probably at $11-12) our newsletter gives you monthly ideas and tips (Short and Sweet) that can save or make you $1,000’s.

And it’s also your opportunity to become a member of our “Free Thinkers Club” at a price that cost less than a fancy cup of coffee at an overpriced coffee house (HERE).

Don’t miss this opportunity, Click Here right now.

One more thing.

A monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time without any penalty.

And since we’re in the holiday season, it would make a great stocking stuffer.

Share this with a friend…especially if they hate math…or resent paying $10 for a bottle of olive oil.  They’ll thank YOU later.

And tell them:

We’re Not Just About Finance

But we use finance to give you hope.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
