Buying fire insurance before a fire should be a no-branier.
In fact, if you are a homeowner, you probably have fire insurance. And, if you have a mortgage, your lender most likely requires you to have it.
But how many of you have insurance on your investments?
(Right now, some of you are thinking…Huh?)
Consider this…If you follow the overkill sentiment from the Media Presstitutes, you must assume that the market is overdue for a correction, Right?
So, what are you doing about it?
Don’t get us wrong here. We believe we’ll see the markets take a big hit…eventually.
But what you’re seeing in the media today, proves an old Wall Street saying: “The markets move in the direction that frustrates the most people.”
And, like it or not, you’re still witnessing the most hated Bull Market in history.
But as we are wont to repeat – with few exceptions – everywhere you look you hear the pundits calling for a crash.
Okay, let’s assume the majority is right. *
(* Please NOTE: The majority is almost always wrong about the market…the 1% elite counts on it).
Fire Insurance
So, if they are right, have you insured your portfolio against major losses?
The talking heads/guru wannabes on TV tell you to “buy puts on the S&P” or buy the VXX (known as the volatility index or “VIX”) to protect yourself.
Question: How has that strategy worked out so far?
To illustrate my point, over the last five years the VXX is down over 97%.
And in the last 10 years, down over 98%.
So why do they keep telling you to buy puts/VXX.
You must remember, Wall Street’s sells you fire insurance to benefit Wall Street.
And they’ll do whatever it takes to convince you to buy it.
There are many better ways to ensure your portfolio than what the media presstitutes tell you.
And we are going to share some ways with you in the upcoming February issue of “Simplifying Wall Street…In Plain English” (HERE).
Become a Premium Subscriber now before the fire (HERE).
And share this with a friend…especially if they have missed out on The Most Hated Bull Market in History. They’ll thank YOU later.
And tell them:
We’re Not Just About Finance
But we use finance to give you hope.
