The subject line reminds me of another saying, “If you want to change something about your life, you need to change something about your life.”
I know it seems odd, but stay with me on this.
Knowledge/Information is useless unless you know how to use it to your advantage.
Example: How many of you can sing a song in another language without knowing what the words mean?
Someone hearing you sing might think you can speak that language even if you’re not a great singer.
However, if you don’t know the language, your understanding would be limited.
Understanding is comprehension of knowledge.
Wisdom is the application of that comprehension.
Let me give you a word picture.
Knowledge is the door.
Understanding is the key to unlock the door, and wisdom is the room with all the treasures therein.
I say all this to illustrate that when it comes to investing, you just can’t rely on what some alleged “guru” recommends.
You need to think for yourself.
Unfortunately, too many investors are lazy and want someone to say “buy this stock and you’ll be rich.”
Sorry, my friend…it doesn’t work that way.
That’s why we publish our monthly newsletter “In Plain English.”
In every issue we dispel the lies and myths that Wall Street skillfully uses to separate you from your hard-earned dollars.
And, unlike most financial publications, we explain everything to you in an easy to understand language…plain English.
We share our 108+ years of combined experience (Wisdom) with you so you’ll know how to take Knowledge (Information), comprehend that knowledge (Understanding) and put it to practical use.
Once you unlock those doors, you’ll not only be a better investor, you’ll have peace of mind in your decisions.
