If you’re old enough to remember Warren (Excitable Boy/Werewolves of London) Zevon, you’ll also remember his 1978 hit song: Lawyers, Guns and Money.
The lyrics are prophetic and pertinent to today’s insanity surrounding Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies.
If you’re following Bitcoin, you’ll know that it recently traded near $18,000. That makes it more than a “10 Bagger” (ten times return on your money) this year.
So, now the $64 Billion question is: “Where’s it going from here?”
If you read our October Issue of Simplifying Wall Street…in Plain English, you’ll recall we highlighted “Hidden Secrets Our Government Doesn’t Want You to Know About Bitcoin.”
In a nutshell, we warned that the government will eventually come after your “Bitcoins.” We also told you why they will attempt to make it a crime to own Cryptocurrencies. (HERE)
Don’t get me wrong. You can still make a fortune in cryptocurrencies…but you should know the risks and flaws about them.
One major flaw is the claim that they’re “not hackable.”
That’s an outright lie.
We recently wrote about that (HERE).
So, if you’re considering jumping in on the Bitcoin Bandwagon, remember the cryptic words of Warren Zevon:
I was gambling in Havana, (Bitcoin) I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns, and money
Dad, get me out of this, hiyah!
And when Uncle Sam comes after your Bitcoins…
I’m hiding in Honduras, I’m a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns, and money
The sh*t has hit the fan.
Bitcoin mania is nothing new. But like P.T. Barnum said, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
Learn how NOT to be a victim of Wall Street’s greed (HERE).
You’ll thank us later.
