Saturday Rant…China Did What?

In an obvious case of the pot calling the Kettle Black, Trump’s recent post on social media leaves us scratching our heads and wondering…China did What?

 

This is likely another example of Trump doing his best to disrupt good relations with China by doing what the democrats do best.

Namely… accusing others of what you are doing.

And today we have Scoob Martin with his $0.25 cents worth (adjusted for inflation) weighing in on this subject.

Hi James.  I hate to sound like a Trump basher (because I really think he is trying to do the best he can for America) but I believe he is listening to the wrong advisers on foreign policies.

And now he is painting a picture of the Chinese that will most likely alienate Americans from having anything to do with China.

From his social media network, he said:

“Some very strange things are happening in China!  They are becoming very hostile, and sending letters to countries throughout the world that they want to impose Export controls on each and every production having to do with Rare Earths, and virtually everything else they can think of even if it is not manufactured in China.”

 

James, I have a problem with this for several reasons. First, isn’t imposing “export controls” another way of saying “Tariffs?”

Second, So, it’s okay for Trump to Impose Tariffs on any country he deems necessary, but China isn’t allowed to do same?  Why?

Third, China is the largest producer and owner of Rare Earth minerals on the planet.

And we are waaaaayyyyy down the list of nations having access to these rare earth minerals.

So why is this so important?

Rare Earth minerals are essential in the advancement of technology ESPECIALLY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

And in addition to AI the usage of Rare Earth Minerals for military equipment is critical for any nation to maintain their military strength.

Unfortunately, we are waaayyy behind China in that regard as well.

Another item in Trump’s post that I thought was a joke was how he boasted about (thanks to him) how after 3,000 years of bedlam and fighting there is now PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

LMAO!

Who in the hell actually believes that?

The appearance of peace in the Middle East is temporary at best.

And anyone who has ever read the Bible knows it will be the battleground for the eventual Armageddon.

Like I said earlier, Trump has been listening to the wrong advisers.  And his advisers are some of the biggest warmongering Neocons on the planet.

And there is no way to stop the inevitable WW3 which certainly will involve the Middle East.

I (like many of my friends) would like to know who Trump is taking advice from…because it’s leading us down a very dangerous path and pushing China closer to Russia.

And that can’t be good in the long run.
