Fear and Greed have been falsely labeled as the driving forces behind the markets. But don’t misunderstand me here. These two base emotions are powerful and no one is immune to them.
However, fear AND greed are overrated.
The problem is most of us are hardwired to fear and greed as our default mechanism.
Therein lies the problem.
The boyz in the “Club” understand our built-in default process and use it to constantly pick your pockets. They know that in order for the markets to make major moves, 99% of investors have to be wrong.
And in order for the 99% to be wrong the “Club” must constantly feed you false information. (Remember, they OWN the media).
Many of you know exactly what I’m talking about. But to prove the point, take 10 seconds and answer this question: “What motivates you more, Fear or Greed?” (one thousand one…one thousand two…)
Times up. What did you choose?
Forgive me. That was a trick question.
You see, regardless of whether you chose fear or greed, you automatically defaulted to one or the other.
See?
That’s how they get you.
Fear and Greed
Ironically (or NOT) the entire Fear and Greed tactics are joined at the hip with the old “Look here, don’t look there” tactic.
AKA…Distractions de Jour.
And a classic example of this is the on-again – off-again peace talks with Iran.
Question for Trump: What part of “Under NO Circumstances” will Iran give up their nukes do you not understand?
They haven’t budged on that issue from the beginning.
Nor will they ever budge because they know it would be suicide for their country.
But I digress.
The good news is you can re-program your fear and greed internal default mechanism just like you would with your computer.
But here’s the key. Reprogramming won’t be effective unless YOU take action.
