French President Emmanuel Macron has openly shown his disdain for the citizens of France.
They hate him and he knows it.
Why else would he make the disastrous decision to deploy the French military to the streets for the first time since 1948 with orders to shoot protestors.
Even with the risk of getting shot, over 125,000 Gilet Jaunes (Yellow Vests) protestors took to the streets last week.
As a leader, that’s something you need to take very seriously.
Instead, this fool is courting civil war.
Unfortunately, while the people started this fight for the future of France it will be the military that ends it.
And woe to Macron and the French political elite if the military on the ground sides with the people they were sent to shoot.
There is nothing more cowardly than a supposedly liberal, tolerant democracy sending in the military to shut down and order violence against its own people for taking to the streets.
This is one of the most glaring reasons why we have our 2nd amendment.
And anyone calling to take our guns away needs to be seen as another cowardly Macron.
Ironically, the lack of violence at last week’s protests showed that the French citizens have called Macron’s bluff.
You can stick a fork in him…he’s done. And it couldn’t happen to a more deserving weasel.
