How many of you remember Janis Joplin’s big hit in 1971, “Me and Bobby McGee?”
Sing it, Janis:
“Freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose
Nothin’, don’t mean nothin’ hon’ if it ain’t free, no no.”
For those of you old enough to remember that song, do you also remember what it was like in 1971.
If so, see if you recognize any similarities to what’s going on in the world today.
Let’s compare “back then” with Venezuela today.
Venezuela’s oppressive socialist agenda (starting with Chavez, and continued with the Maduro regime) has devastated most of the population.
They’re broke and inflation is spiraling out of control.
How can this possibly happen to a beautiful country that’s sitting on the largest oil reserves (more than Saudi Arabia) in the world?
The people of this once “extremely profitable” nation are nearing the point where they have “nothin’ left to lose.”
When that happens, chaos follows.
And, sad to say, the “Club” is already in position to profit from the devastation of Venezuela.
So, when you compare this to 1971 you should recognize that it’s ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY/OIL.
You need to pay close attention to this.
Why?
Venezuela is a successful model for “creative destruction.”
It’s how the “Club” controls and steals wealth from unsuspecting nations.
And it’s already underway in Europe as well. Namely, Catalonia. (That’s another topic for another time)
