Trump has been suckered into a proxy war with Iran (thanks mostly to Rubio and company) that we hope won’t end up being Iraq 2.0.
Unfortunately, it’s starting to look that way.
And will most likely be a political disaster for Trump.
In a ceremony in the White House on Monday Trump vowed to “crush” the “Iranian threat posed to the US,” claiming that “we will easily prevail”.
He then went on to give a timeline of a “projected four to five weeks” for war with Iran, “but we can go longer” and this will involve “whatever it takes.”
Question: Did Iran start bombing us first?
And like we mentioned in yesterdays post…
Trump is channeling his best Dick Cheney because in 2003 then-Vice President Cheney predicted that the conflict and occupation would be relatively brief in Iraq, famously suggesting that the endeavor would take “weeks rather than months.”
FLASHBACK TIME…
President George W. Bush gave his famous “Mission Accomplished” speech on May 1st, 2003, which was approximately 6 weeks after the invasion of Iraq on March 2th, 2003.
But the final U.S. Troop withdrawal took place on December 18, 2011, eight years later… So much for mission accomplished.
And we believe that Trump will be led out to do the same thing probably even sooner than Bush.

Iraq 2.0
There are just too many similarities shaping up with the Iran proxy war to the disaster we experienced in Iraq.
Because, let’s be real here…Iran is a proxy war that Russia and China will not sit idly by without getting involved.
And if we have so weakened the Iranian military, then how have they been able to effectively strike so many places in the Middle-East?
Unfortunately, our Presstitutes will continue the narrative that Iran is weak to the point of elimination and that total victory will belong to the USA in a few weeks.
If it were only that easy.
The point is this is NOT going to be a quick in and out affair.
Iran is NOT Iraq…they are far more formidable.
