Was America Built on Discrimination?

Who in the world would admit that American was built on discrimination?

We raise our hand to that and have already said it twice.

And if you strive to be politically correct (PC) or tend to follow the “WOKE” agenda, stop reading this email now.

However, if your family originally came to America from another country, keep reading.

You’ll appreciate this.

The word discrimination has been politicized to the point where you associate it with hatred.

But for now, let’s put aside being “(PC)” and look at how discrimination shaped America into the biggest powerhouse on earth.

You can trace a great deal of America’s prosperity back to the multitude of immigrants that gave up everything to come to the land of the free.

They became the backbone of the workforce that transformed the US into the most prosperous nation in history.

In the early 1900s they quickly learned that in order to get a job, they had to speak English.

The rule was pure discrimination…No English, No Job.  Period!

So, what happened?

They learned English, assimilated to our culture, worked hard, saved money, and embraced the entrepreneurial spirit by starting new businesses (which, in turn, created more jobs and prosperity for others).

This attitude set a precedent for their families and the rest of the world to follow:

“In America, you can do, or be anything you want.”

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Built on Discrimination

Discrimination worked in that it unified our nation.

Today, unfortunately, the WOKE/PC crowd has turned everything upside down where illegals get major benefits – compliments of your tax dollars – and have the gall to demand more.

It’s called the Entitlement Mentality.

And it’s so bad that some politicians actually want to allow certain cultures to impose their laws (Example: Sharia law) into our society.

That’s just plain messed up.

And it flies in the face of what made our nation great.

Unfortunately, being “politically correct” is dangerously entrenched in our culture.  And it’s being used to manipulate how we think and act.

At Financial$Matter we don’t follow the WOKE/PC crowd.  In fact, we spend most of our time making fun of them.

We believe in the free-thinking spirit and write about it every month, in addition to showing you how Wall Street operates “Behind the Curtain.”

See for yourself (HERE).

Share this with a friend…especially if they cringe at the mention of discrimination.  Your ancestors will thank YOU later.

And tell them:

We’re Not Just About Finance

But we use finance to give you hope.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
