In addition to everything we’re seeing in 2021 (so far) we predict a rise in the Self-Destructive Nature of Wokeness.
And although Big Tech censors (Cough! Facebook, Twitter, Cough! Cough!) and Big Tech bullies (Cough! Google, Apple, and Amazon, Hairball Cough! who recently destroyed Parler) are promoting “Wokeness,” the real heart of the problem lies with our higher education system.
Huh?
That’s right.
Unlike corporations, academics have the freedom to imagine utopian concepts without ever having to implement them.
And they don’t even have to prove whether they can actually work.
“It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.”
~Thomas Sowell~
Wokeness is Political Correctness
So, what happens when political correctness (PC) takes hold?
Does it eventually fall out of favor?
Actually, No!
In fact, the effect is quite the opposite.
It tends to spread like a skin rash.
Why?
It provides those who have not excelled in life with an opportunity for immediate one-upmanship.
The intention of political correctness/Wokeness is NOT to correct the unfairness of life but to tear down what exists in a bid for self-promotion and power.
It’s not an appeal for “fairness.”
It’s a campaign for domination by those who have no real sense of identity or accomplishment.
For those who seek to placate the PC/Woke crowd, there is no backing out once you begin.
Once those who are being pressured to comply with illogical PC demands; however small, it becomes apparent that PC/Wokeness has no limit.
And it becomes a systemic cry for self-destruction.
Historically, when a nation reaches the final stages of decline, the inmates take over control of the asylum.
Welcome to 2021 where we are witnessing the inmates taking over…in real time.
From an economic, political, and social standpoint, the United States seems to be headed down a path that’s waaaaaay off course of the founding principles of our country.
As a result, we find ourselves accelerating quickly toward boundless decay.
Hopefully, January 20th won’t mark the rebirth of Stalin’s Great Purge from 1936-38.
But if it does, how are you prepared to deal with it?
Be sure to read “Welcome to the Great Purge of 2021” in our January edition of “…In Plain English” (HERE).
In it we’ll show you how to prosper AND thrive in Turbulent Times.
And remember, It’s Not Just About Finance.
