Welcome back to the first New Year’s edition of the Sunday Funnies, where (not Surprisingly) 2025 has begun with a multitude of bizarro events, setting the stage for what should be a very memorable year.
In typical January fashion, freezing temperatures (now referred to as Polar Arctic Vortex Blasts) covered a 1,500-mile-long stretch across America.
But while freezing weather is not unusual for January, some kinky weatherman lit up the meme world with their graphically displayed storm pattern in a shape similar to that of male genitalia.
Needless to say, a huge blast of innuendo jokes came afterward.
On a more sober note, the New Year also began with two “supposedly unrelated events” including:
- The terrorist attack of Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old Army veteran and U.S.-born citizen from Texas drove his truck into a crowd of people in New Orleans killing 14.
- A Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump hotel in Las Vegas ignited by a man named Matthew Livelsberger…who said it wasn’t meant to be a “terrorist attack.”
Ironically (or NOT) the FBI and the Police Chief of New Orleans said the New Orleans attack was not a terrorist attack even though Shamsud-Din Jabbar was on their watch list.
Which makes us wonder why the Tesla event is still front-page news while the New Orleans attack is quietly disappearing.
But the FBI agent, spokesman/woman is still trying to figure out how members of Social Media ‘X’ can solve these crimes before they can.
Meanwhile, Trump is assessing the damage to his Vegas hotel.
On a more humorous note, it appears the Legacy Main Stream Media is approaching 2025 with the revelation that they may have “overlooked” O’Biden’s compromised mental condition for the last 4 years.
And they want you to believe they are actually sincere over how shocked they are at their latest discovery.
Speaking of the Legacy Media, have you noticed coverage of the many mysterious drones has disappeared from the headlines?
And in its place, we are seeing ruminations of the return of the BIRD FLU.
A coincidence?
Naaaaaah!
As a result, the thought of a Bird Flu Pandemic has the Big Pharma Boyz salivating over profits from their newly discovered (Bird Flu) vaccine…coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
Flying under the radar last week, Elon Musk went on a vulgar filled tirade defending his view of H1B Visas.
“The reason I’m in America along with so many critical people who built SpaceX, Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong is because of H1B. Take a big step back and FUCK YOURSELF in the face,” Musk posted on X. “I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend.”
Hmmmm!
Why is Elon so touchy, touchy about H1B?
Critics on the right have long argued that it suppresses wages for American workers, while proponents say it attracts top talent and helps American businesses succeed.
And for some reason (Cough! EGO, Cough! EGO) guys like Musk are under the misguided belief that H1B Visas made America Great.
Such childish behavior is an indication that ego maniacs (who think they are the savior of the world now that they are on Trump’s good side) tend to be pathological liars…who promise grandiose ideology but end up delivering inferior by-products.
And that is precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.
You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.
We like to call them “Digital Seeds of Truth.”
Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.
Why?
Laughter is good for your soul.
And it is healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the threat of WWIII.
It’s even more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.
And please remember:
The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.
It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.
And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.
So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.
And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
