Financials Matter

"It's Not Just About Finance"

Shoot First, Apologize Later

There’s nothing like someone Apologizing Later after shooting first.

At least that’s the stance of Benjamin Netanyahu after Israel’s strike on Qatar.

Ironically (or NOT) Five Hamas officials and a Qatari security guard died during Israel’s September 9 attack on Doha.

And Israeli media writes that “Netanyahu apologized for violating Qatari sovereignty in the strike. It says it is possible that Israel may pay compensation to the family of the guard.”

Compensation for the guard?

What about the five Hamas officials?

And how much compensation will it “maybe Pay?”

“The report says the apology is central to the current effort to finalize a deal to end the war in Gaza and secure the release of all hostages.

Previously, Qatar had been refusing to mediate negotiations with Hamas since the Israeli strike, which targeted but failed to kill several key Hamas leaders in Doha,” Times of Israel details.

But what the Presstitutes aren’t telling you is how Qatar has long been a loyal oil and gas powerhouse to Washington, and has a significant lobby on Capitol Hill.

Translation:  Trump needs Netanyahu to make nicey-nice with Qatar (even with empty words as an apology) so they can build ocean front condos, hotels, and resorts along the Gaza beachfront.

Although Netanyahu’s half-a**ed apology doesn’t even come close to being sincere, Qatar will likely ‘accept’ Bibi’s ‘apology’ and move on.

Especially with the thought/benefit of hosting major US military and intelligence assets on its soil.

The conversation could easily be as follows:

Netanyahu: “I’m sorry that you were offended by our bombing your territory and killing your guests.”

Trump:  “See, he said sorry, so now we’re good as ever, right?”

Basis of Shoot First Apologize Later

There’s an old saying that applies here:  It’s easier to get forgiveness than permission.

But like almost every other scenario – especially when a major war is on the line – the answer to questions of motive fall back to the saying “Follow the Money.”

Because most people are unaware that Al Udeid Air Base is a major U.S. military installation located approximately 20 miles southwest of Doha, Qatar.

And it serves as the forward headquarters for U.S. Central Command and U.S. Air Forces Central Command.

Hmmm!

Central Command?

And somehow our sophisticated technologies did not see the airstrike coming?

Yeah, right.

Sources are saying Israel gave the US a “heads up” while the strike planes were in the air.

Yeah, right.

A “heads up” is not exactly permission, nor a fair warning.

But it certainly put egg on Trump’s face with a loyal ally.

So, as a “heads up” to all our loyal readers, we suggest you prepare for some blowback in the form of increased volatility in oil and gas prices.

(Hint! Hint!  Energy stocks)

And be sure to read our upcoming October newsletter (HERE) for ideas on what energy stocks you should be buying.

Share this with a friend…especially if are clueless of the air strike in Qatar and Israel’s empty apology.  They’ll thank YOU later.

And tell them:

We’re Not Just About Finance

But we use finance to give you hope.
