Plastic Straws…Weapons of Mass Destruction?

I think I’m going to start categorizing certain emails under the title “Stuck on Stoopid.”

The first one we wrote involved South Africa (HERE).  They top the list because they’ve been stuck on stoopid for a long time.

Now, however, certain cities (Cough! San Francisco. Cough! Portland) are threatening to kick them out of first place with their recent ban on plastic straws.

The legislators behind this movement use pictures of turtles, whales, and other sea creatures to show you how cruel plastic straws are a threat to the earth.  At this time, it wouldn’t surprise me if they classify them as Weapons of Mass Destruction.

The ban on these menacing straws includes fines up to $1,000 and/or up to six months in jail.

C’MON MAN!

Jail time for plastic straws?

These politicians and activists are Stuck on Stoopid.

Why don’t they follow the lead of the “Recycled Island Foundation” who takes used plastic (found in rivers) and melts is down into hexagons that are then used to provide greenery, food and shelter for all types of birds and microbes.  They also provide a shelter for algae which provides food for marine life and a place fish can safely lay their eggs.

But NOOOOOO!

Idiots like California Governor Jerry Brown are saying that you are going to jail if you use a plastic straw in his state.

This is the same fool who allows aliens to illegally cross the border into California and provides them with Sanctuary cities AND Government benefits.

And who do you think pays for those freebies?

It’s just one more nail in the coffin of political correctness that eventually brings about revolt and civil unrest.

It’s already baked in the cake.
