It’s Just a Mask

We’re now looking at a new administration in DC.  So, let’s review what they’ve been telling us up to this point…starting with “It’s Just a Mask.”

While the idea of wearing masks seems innocent on the surface, it leads you down a very slippery slope…where innocence morphs into lies.

Follow the pattern:

1. It’s just a mask.
2. It’s just six feet.
3. It’s just two weeks.
4. It’s just non-essential businesses.
5. It’s just non-essential workers.
6. It’s just a bar.
7. It’s just a restaurant.
8. It’s just to keep from overwhelming the hospitals.
9. It’s just until the cases go down.
10. It’s just to flatten the curve.
11. It’s just a few inmates.
12. It’s just to keep others from being scared.
13. It’s just for a few more weeks.
14. It’s just church.
15. You could still pray.
16. It’s just prayer.
17. It’s just until we get a vaccine.
18. It’s just a bracelet.
19. It’s just an app.
20. It’s just for tracing.
21. It’s just to let people know you’re safe to be around (my favorite lie).
22. It’s just to let others know who you’ve been in contact with.
23. It’s just a few more months.
24. It’s just some more inmates.
25. It’s just a video.
26. It’s just a post.
27. It’s just an email account.
28. It’s just for protecting other from hate speech.
29. It’s just for protecting others from hurt feelings.
30. It’s just a large gathering but for protests.
31. It’s just a few violent protests.
32. It’s just a little micro-chip.
33. It’s just a blood test.
34. It’s just a test.
35. It’s just a scan.
36. It’s just for medical information.
37. It’s just to store a vaccination certificate.
38. It’s just like a credit card.
39. It’s just a few places that don’t take cash.
40. It’s just so you can travel.
41. It’s just so you can get your driver’s license.
42. It’s just so you can vote.
43. It’s just mail-in voting.
44. It’s just a few more years.
45. It’s just a statue.
46. It’s just a monument.
47. It’s just a building.
48. It’s just a song.
49. It’s just a lyric.
50. It’s just an anthem.
51. It’s just a few words.
52. It’s just a piece of paper.
53. It’s just a book.
54. It’s just a movie.
55. It’s just a TV show.
56. It’s just a cartoon character.
57. It’s just a piece of cloth.
58. It’s just a flag.
59. It’s just a dog at a protest.
60. It’s just a clump of cells.
61. It’s just a fetus.
62. It’s just a religion.
63. It’s just a holiday.
64. It’s just your guns.
65. It’s just the police.
66. It’s just the military.
67. It’s just your freedoms…gone forever.
68. And “It’s just” the way they planned it.

2% of the impassioned can rule over the 98% apathetic.
