Now that the peace talks with Iran are off (for the umpteenth time) Iran said they are “Fully Prepared” to resume Netanyahu’s war.
And based on multiple conflicting sources about the Strait of Hormuz being open OR closed we continue to ask the question: Who do you believe?
Over the weekend we saw two disputed news stories being reported.

President Trump has rejected Tehran’s seven day ceasefire roadmap proposal, and reportedly plans to resume bombing Iran – likely after the November midterm elections

The Iranian government announced Sunday its forces have struck 19 ships in the Strait of Hormuz over the past two nights, per Fars News Agency.
The Iranians have indicated they hit 12 vessels Friday night and 7 more Saturday.
However, Western sources have been slow to report or confirm this, and the Pentagon has not initially commented.
Meanwhile, Rory Johnston, a Toronto-based oil analyst and the founder of Commodity Context, an independent oil market research firm, wrote on X this weekend that oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz have recovered to roughly two-thirds of prewar levels, driven by a surge in Saudi exports. This suggests that Tehran’s leverage over the critical maritime chokepoint has eroded.
Again, this begs the question:
Who do You Believe?
Based on the Canadian reporter’s report, we expect (anytime) to hear Trump boast: “Trust me, the straight is open. Like huge open (spreads hands palms out thumbs in). We are moving more oil than before the war. Really, it’s amazing. Like never before.”

Sorry/Not Sorry to adding confusion upon confusion, but IF the Oil is Flowing through Hormuz, why are gasoline prices rising?
And IF the Iranian’s hit 19 ships in the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend, will that be enough to allow Congress to officially declare war against Iran?
Enquiring minds want to know.
Especially when you consider that Israel has an important election coming up in October followed by our Midterm election in November.
Bibi AND Trump are expected to lose bigly…especially if they don’t any conclusion to the war in Iran.
