Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Sunday Funnies where last week Sydney Sweeny (the American Eagles model who became famous for her having “Great Jeans” ad campaign) is back in the news again…much to the delight of most males of all age groups.
But this time the ads were produced by a company named Novig…which is a federally regulated peer-to-peer sports prediction and trading platform that lets users trade game outcomes directly against each other instead of a traditional sportsbook.
And despite the gambling overtone, Ms. Sweeny has once again become the center of controversy and scathing criticism from feminist groups around the country with accusations and name calling including: “Slut, Racist, Sellout, Pleasing Men, and Sexualizing Women.”
One alleged journalist, Poppie Platt, went as far to say that Sydney Sweeny is Not a Girls Girl.
And to that we say LOL!
Other feminist attacks include calling her an Evil Vile Woman.
Ironically (or NOT) Sweeny’s detractors consist mostly of the same women who support Lindsay Clancy.
BTW for those who understand gambling, the company name of Novig is brilliant AND ironic.
Because the term “Vig” (short for vigorish) is the fee or commission that a bookmaker, casino, or loan shark charges for their services.
And the brilliant part was them choosing Miss Sweeny to headline their ad campaign.
The results speak for themselves.
One could say that Novig is using the voluptuous Sydney Sweeny as “click bait.”
But you can’t argue with the results…
And, yes, we will feature more memes of her below because who are we to argue with a formula for success?
In the meantime, we hope some corrupt judge doesn’t step in with some ridiculous ruling about advertising standards or how women are being oppressed.
On the other side of the world (where even in the Middle East they know about Sydney Sweeny) Saudi Arabia has thrown down the gauntlet after suffering severe damage to their oil livelihood thanks to the Houthis onslaught to disrupt the global economy via the Middle East.
And it has gotten to the point where, for probably the first time in recent history, the Saudis aren’t going to depend on the US (unlike Israel) to fight their war.
They announced they will fight the Houthis in Yemen with the best army they can muster.
If you have been paying attention, we constantly remind you how the Distractions de Jour are fabricated to keep you from seeing what’s going on behind the curtain.
And recently, some of the most obvious proof of those (DdJ) is the never-ending coverage of Lindsay Clancy’s trial for murdering her three children.
Since that doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, we’ve decided to continue posting memes about it as a reminder of how we have devolved as a nation on these issues.
And this Begs the Question:
And that is precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.
You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.
Because we have found that using memes (and the Sunday Funnies) is more effective in telling the truth than practically anything put out by the main stream Presstitutes.
Ironically (or NOT) we have found that most people don’t like to do their own research.
And that’s why we do the research and publish memes via the Sunday Funnies to hopefully expose to you the truth in a world plagued with lies.
Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.
Why?
Laughter is good for your soul.
And it is healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the Proxy War in Iran (WW3 in Drag).
It’s even more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.
And please remember:
The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.
It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.
And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.
So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.
And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
