Headlines That Make You Say “What?”

Have you ever seen headlines that make you want to say “What!” …or WTF.

It happened to us the other day when one our staff discovered the following headline:

US Bombs Somalia For 81st Time This Year

According to the source of the article:  US Africa Command  announced on Friday that its forces launched another airstrike in Somalia as the Trump administration continues a record-breaking bombing campaign in the country, which receives virtually no coverage in US media.

We did the math and it turns out that we are bombing Somalia every three days on average.

Every three days?

Why haven’t we heard about this before?

According to numbers from New America, an organization that tracks the air war and also counts airstrikes that are reported but not claimed by the US, the September 8 strike would bring the total number of US bombings in Somalia this year to 83.

Wow!

And people wonder why there are so many Somalians here in America.

But the point is what’s this noise about being out of bombs?

Because we’re bombing 5 countries right now.

And apparently not having much success with any of them.

Another point we often point out (pun intended) is that the Distractions de Jour (DdJ) have a way of conveniently covering up what the Boyz in DC and Wall Street don’t want you to see.

God only knows how many people have died in Somalia as a result…and we’ll probably never know the total.

Headlines Bombing Somalia

Stories like this beg the question:  Why Somalia?

Does it have anything to do with losing the two key “Chokepoint” straits?

Strait of Hormuz via Iran/Oman – and Strait of Bab el Mandab via Yemen/Somalia.

If we had to guess, the USA is doing this to obtain the resources under the ground before China does.

Or possibly creating another “resistance fighter” in a Middle East country.

Unfortunately, the US has done this so many times before.

Think about it…who trained Osama bin Laden?  Who created ISIS?  Who was responsible for installing the Shah and messing up Iran?

And who helped ISIS take control of Syria and then welcomed the leader at the White House?

At this point, Somalia is just another mile marker on the highway to stealing others resources.

Because this is more proof that the point of war is spending. Theres no way anything in Somalia is worth what is being spent there.

In the meantime, the Saudis are getting closer to a do or die situation with their oil AND finances.

Learn more about it and its inevitable effect on the global economy in our September newsletter (HERE).

Share this with a friend…even if they don’t know that Somalia is an important “Chokepoint” for the Saudis transportation of their oil.  They’ll thank YOU later.

And tell them:

We’re Not Just About Finance

But we use finance to give you hope.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
