In anything except a bizarro world – like the one we are living in – a president offering a $5,000 check to every US adult citizen to make sure they vote Republican in the Mid-Term election, would be considered a bribe.
But, by labeling it a “Trump dividend” Trump is somehow convinced that it escapes the normal boundaries of political bribery.
Funny/Not Funny when you consider how Trump has constantly accused his detractors of political bribery when they promise to give away FREE STUFF if you vote for them.
But to be so blatant that the GOP MUST hold Congress in order to get $5,000 begs the question
Where Will the $5,000 Come From?
Simple math will tell you that the cost of the GOP holding Congress would be in the $1 Trillion or more range.
And that’s assuming there are only 200 million adults in America.
Ironically (or NOT) those same people are still waiting on their check that was supposed to come from DOGE.
Remember that?
BTW, add that Trillion to the 40+ Trillion we already owe and it makes the “Where will the $5,000 come from” question more ominous.
Because anyone with half a brain should realize that it will come from taxpayer money printed out of thin air by the Federal Reserve and cloaked in secrecy as some sort of “….in the best interests of our national security” or some other garbage label.
Unfortunately, most Americans would be more interested in getting the $5,000 rather than trying to figure out how Trump will fund this bribery Mid Term political campaign promise.
The next thing you know, he will say that Netanyahu’s war against Iran (that we are FUNDING) will be over right after the Mid-Terms…and gas prices will fall dramatically …Oh, wait!
