In another blast of bravado on his social media, Trump announced that his next soon-to-be attack on Iran has been put on hold…Again.
And this was supposedly at the request of Gulf leaders, including Qatar, Kuwait, and UAE after Trump said: “A deal will be made.”
This begs a few questions.
How close can we be to a deal with Iran when after the umpteenth time they have specifically said: “under no circumstances” will negotiate nuclear issue as part of an end to the war.
What part of “under no circumstances” don’t they understand?
And if the Gulf state leaders are worried about seeing their infrastructure relentlessly destroyed by Iran’s sophisticated drones, why are they telling Trump to stop the bombing?
More importantly, why is Trump listening to them?
Is it because when we bomb Iran, they bomb their neighbors?
Chances are we will probably never know the truth because wartime is the breeding ground for propaganda from all participants.
But we will speculate it has something to do with the price of oil. *
(* Note: it’s ALWAYS about the money because both WTICrude AND Brent oil are up over 75% YTD)
Unfortunately, this is looking more like the ongoing saga of Charlie Brown with Lucy urging him to “kick the ball again, Charlie Brown. I’ll hold it steady this time.”
Ironically (or NOT) this could be another windfall TACO Trade set-up…on a TACO Tuesday no less.
We question whether the attack on Iran, placed on hold again, is just another Distraction de Jour.
Because with all the blather surrounding this latest alleged attack on Iran (and In Case You Missed it…) Israel will apparently never stop bombing Lebanon, despite having a cease-fire with them.
As a result, all of Trump’s charades are coming across as a joke.
And unfortunately for him, He’s rapidly running out of people who believe anything he says, or even believe he knows what he’s talking about.
In Case You Missed it… Russia has more nuclear weapons than the USA and yet haven’t “glassed” anyone…yet.
And that’s because nuclear deterrence works on the basis of fear of mutual destruction.
However, Religious Zealots do not harbor that fear, and instead are convinced that their “God” will reward them with victory.
