Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Sunday Funnies, where last week (and due to multiple Distractions de Jour) most Americans didn’t see how Wall Street’s Psychedelic Stocks went mainstream.
Because on Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order aimed at accelerating research and access to psychedelic therapies, backing it with $50 million in federal funding.
Ironically (or NOT) something like this would have sounded borderline impossible a couple of years ago…and yet, here we are.
Who woulda thunk it?
LSD was the 1960s psychedelic drug of choice offering “trips to wherever your brain wanted to go.”
But we still wonder about the side effects caused by hallucinations that will most likely be under reported…like the following recent incident…that you probably missed.
And speaking of LSD from an era gone by, but not forgotten, we came up with some baseball trivia that most fans will find hard to believe.
But those who played professional baseball also knew who took drugs…and even played games under the influence.
It is a bit odd that something like LSD that was banned in the 1960s is making a comeback, not just to the mainstream, but also to Wall Street.
As a result, we hopefully anticipate that other things that were banned in the 1960s will also be resurrected.
Especially so the youth of America can experience events that really did Make America Great in the first place…namely Dodgeball.
For those old enough to remember all this reminiscing from the early days of the Boomer Generation’s childhood, you might want to take time and realize what we had and yet never realized we would never have it again.
And before we move on to other Distractions de Jour – generated by Wall Street’s bought-and-paid-for-Presstitutes – we want to know who out there remembers (before we had high fructose syrup, and other chemical induced artificial sweeteners) the famous Ice Cream Cup with the “wooden tw0-sided spoon?”
Getting back to those Distractions de Jour, after saying we have all the time in the world to finish off Iran, Trump has, once again, called for new peace talks to resume with two of the three stooges (Witkoff and Kushner without Vance) headed to Pakistan…just like the last two times they were supposedly going to meet with Iran in Pakistan.
But at the way things have progressed up to this point we expect the Presstitutes to continue reporting the same crap well into 2027.
And that is precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.
You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.
Because we have found that using memes (and the Sunday Funnies) is more effective in telling the truth than practically anything put out by the main stream Presstitutes.
Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.
Why?
Laughter is good for your soul.
And it is healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the Proxy War in Iran (WW3 in Drag).
It’s even more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.
And please remember:
The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.
It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.
And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.
So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.
And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
