While the Pentagon and Presstitutes continue to show maps of Iran and pointing out the air strikes, we like to point out a more accurate map of Iran to illustrate how Mountains Favor the Defender.

At the same time, we believe that WW3 is underway.
Stay with me here.
In the past, total war between the world’s largest powers – that reshuffled the international order – defined the previous world wars.
However, with the advent of nuclear weapons, total war between the largest powers today—Russia, China, and the US—means a nuclear Armageddon where there are no winners. Only losers.
That could still happen despite nobody wanting it, but it’s not the most likely outcome.
WW3 is unlikely to be a total war between the world’s largest powers, like the previous world wars.
Instead, the conflict is playing out on different levels—proxy wars, economic wars, financial wars, cyber wars, biological warfare, deniable sabotage, and information warfare.
And despite hearing Trump say we don’t want to have boots on the ground, WE HAVE BOOTS ON THE GROUND with mercenary warriors (Cough! CIA, Cough! Cough!) supposedly training the Kurds to rise up and overthrow the Iranian regime.
If history is any indicator (and it is) no regime has ever been overthrown without having boots on the ground warfare.
Combine this with the fact that Iran is a vast land mass defined by mountain ranges that have shaped its history, defense, and resistance to outside powers for millennia, and it illustrates how Mountains favor the defender.
And it will only be a matter of time before we “officially have boots on the ground in Iran.”
Mountains Favor the Defender
Terrain matters because it dictates strategy.
In Afghanistan, invaders struggled precisely because the rugged landscape broke lines of communication and allowed insurgents to melt into valleys and mountainsides.
Iran’s mountains are broader and more extensive, giving defenders even more strategic options: natural choke points, deep interior lines of retreat, and countless niches for irregular or asymmetric resistance.
Iran’s military planners understand this well, which is why defensive tunnel networks and surface-to-air missile sites have been deployed to exploit the topography.
And we constantly wonder why our war mongering politicians ignore the following:
-
Historically, the mountains of Iran have served as a barrier to sovereignty
-
They helped defend against Arab, Mongol, Ottoman, and Russian incursions over centuries
-
They served as the backbone of resistance during the Iran–Iraq War, where Iranian forces leveraged rugged terrain to negate some of Iraq’s technical advantages
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”
~ George Santayana, 1905 ~
Sadly, Trump has committed what we believe is political suicide by attacking Iran to please Israel and starting what we also believe will be another endless war that he specifically campaigned against.
He is morphing into Baby Bush.
