Winning Arguments in the Shower

Why is it many of us have revelation thoughts (or sound better singing) in the shower?

Or, more accurately, have you ever had a discussion with someone about something and later thought you weren’t sure if you made your point?

Later, when you are in the shower, you get a thought that clarifies what you “wished you had said?”

That’s when, you picture yourself saying to that person what you really wanted to say…and you’re thinking, “YEAH!  That’s what I meant.”

It’s called “Winning Arguments in the Shower.”

And while it’s comforting to know you finally figured out what you wanted to say, it’s unlikely you’ll make your point to the other person.

It’s called a “missed opportunity.”

In the Shower of Investing

Regarding investing: How many times have you looked back at a “missed opportunity” and said, “If only I would have…?”

Let me put it to you this way.  If you haven’t had those thoughts then you’re either unique or you’re lying.

Almost everyone I know has said to me, “I should’ve bought XYZ stock when it was cheap.”

They regret not buying it but they refuse to see if there is still value in a stock that’s climbed to an all time high.

Then, the stock doubles from there and they get really frustrated at the “missed opportunity.”

Sound familiar?

(Cough! Silver and Gold mining stocks in 2025, Cough! Cough!)

Don’t let your doubts keep you from buying a stock if it hits a new high.

Instead, look at the trend of its movement.

The old Wall Street adage, “The trend is your friend,” is as true today as it has been for over 100 years.

But remember, the trend can baffle you causing many investors to sell in a panic with a quick reverse to the downside (Cough! Gold/Silver mining stocks in the near future, Cough! Cough!)

Learn how to make the trend your friend in our Simplifying Wall Street in Plain English newsletter (HERE).

You’ll thank us after you win this argument in the shower.

Share this with a friend…especially if they’ve been on the sideline about mining stocks.  They’ll thank YOU later.

And tell them:
