Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Sunday Funnies, where last week the Government shutdown supposedly ended.
The Democrats may have walked away from this shutdown with their tail between their legs, but the fight is not over.
Because this paper-thin deal will fund the government until January 30, 2026.
Congress must agree on long-term funding before the end of January to prevent another shutdown.
The good news is how the shutdown revealed to the public much of what we have known all along.
Distractions de jour (Cough! Shutdown, Cough! Cough!) did an adequate job of covering up the fact that Pennsylvania Democrat, John Fetterman, openly criticized his party’s extremism and subsequently ended up being hospitalized shortly thereafter.
Doctors have assured us that he will be fine…Hmmm!
And speaking of distractions de jour Kentucky Senator Thomas Massie gathered enough votes in the House to push for re-opening the Epstein Files.
Not surprisingly, the Democrats initiated a coordinated propaganda attack centered on releasing Jeffrey Epstein’s emails and promoting a range of narratives targeting President Trump, including claims that he and Epstein shared a Thanksgiving dinner in 2017.
But the Trump team responded, with the Department of Justice and the FBI set to begin investigations into “Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, and Reid Hoffman.”
As a result, we will most likely never know the true stories behind the Epstein Files.
Meanwhile, Trump is riding high on the idea of making 50-year mortgages available for struggling Americans – who can’t afford to purchase a home – to become debt slaves without even realizing it.
And the truth is many fools will take out a 50-year mortgage thinking they are saving $100 a month on payments just to end up paying the Banksters an additional $500,000 in interest.
Flying under the radar last week…
The American penny died on Wednesday in Philadelphia. It was 232 years old.
The cause was irrelevance and expensiveness, the Treasury Department said. Nothing could be bought any more with a penny, as the cost to mint the penny had risen to more than 3 cents.
And, contrary to popular belief, was mostly made of Zinc and not Copper.
And that is precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.
You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.
Because we have found that using memes (and the Sunday Funnies) is more effective in telling the truth than practically anything put out by the main stream Presstitutes.
Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.
Why?
Laughter is good for your soul.
And it is healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the threat of WWIII…or Traveling in London.
It’s even more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.
And please remember:
The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.
It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.
And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.
So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.
And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
