Financials Matter

"It's Not Just About Finance"

Inauguration Day 2025, Back to Normal?

Welcome to Inauguration Day 2025 where Donald Trump officially takes the office of 47th President of the USA.

Rightfully so.

But unfortunately, many people who believe things will soon be “back to normal” under Trump, will most likely be disappointed.

And that’s because the past four years have been soooo abnormal, that it has become hard to determine what is normal anymore.

Especially when you consider how we, as a nation, have become more divided than any other time in history (except for the Civil War).

And that is one thing that will not change overnight.

However, with the USA so divided we are just glad to be on the side that believes in God, has the most guns, and knows which restroom to use.

And, more importantly, we can finally say good bye to the alleged “Blue Wave” running America for the last four years.

In stark contrast to 2017, when Trump was met with skepticism, corporate America is now playing nicey-nice with Trump ahead of his second term…with donors lining up with record breaking funding for #47.

Translation:  Let the kissing of Trump’s behind begin.

Ironically (or NOT) China seems to be doing very little to prepare for the incoming Trump administration’s proposed tariffs and other trade matters…

At the same time, the Chinese are exuberant over the reversal of TikTok and thanked Trump in advance of his Inauguration.

In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive.

It’s a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States.

As a result, Tik Tokers were greeted on their smartphones with a message that praised “Trump’s efforts” that led to the app being restored.

This should be seen as a solid olive branch by Beijing extended to the incoming Trump administration.

Welcome back! Thanks for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the US! You can continue to create, share and discover all the things you love on TikTok.

So far it looks like the transition is smooth.

But don’t underestimate the markets reactions.

Because, in addition to the Inauguration, today we also celebrate Martin Luther King day with the markets being closed.

And while everyone seems nicey-nice and happy, the Boyz on Wall Street could very easily be setting up for an uncomfortable ride when the market re-opens on Tuesday.

It’s their way of them letting everyone know who is really in charge of the economy.

And as we say goodbye to Dementia Joe (who we will probably not hear or see from after today) rest assured that his would-be replacements will return to their normal lives.

Share this with a friend…especially if they are happy about Trump’s return.  They’ll thank YOU later.
