Sunday Funnies, If You’re Not Offended…

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Sunday Funnies, where this past week, the Trump trial slogged on to a near close before the Memorial Day holiday.

 

And with closing arguments scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, the prosecution of former President Donald Trump will finally head to a jury.

 

Throughout the entire trial, Judge Juan Merchan has refused every opportunity to bring an end to this politically manufactured prosecution.

 

So, now it will be up to 12 New Yorkers to do what neither the court nor the prosecutors were willing to do: adhere to the rule of law regardless of the identity of the defendant.

 

Merchan has allowed the government to bring back into life a dead misdemeanor and convert it into 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

 

And in the process, Trump has been an active spectator.

 

 

 

 

And speaking of trials, corrupt judges, and prison sentences… here are a couple of “Oh, the Irony!” memes for your ironic pleasure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ironically (or NOT) while our Justice system in New York continued down the road to perdition…across town (in the Bronx) we saw a major MAGA Trump rally in what is historically a Blue Democrat region.

 

And New York Governor Kathy Hochul (after her major gaffe last week about blacks not having and/or able to operate computers) seemed perplexed at the amount of black Trump supporters who were there.

 

 

 

 

As expected, the Presstitutes have done their part to encourage the Kangaroo court proceedings by fanning the flames of hatred and hypocrisy.

 

 

 

 

From the “Hey, I didn’t know that” category we learned that last Tuesday was “Dinosaur Day.”

And it’s where parents in the know celebrated by taking their kids to Dinosaur theme parks.

But if you missed it, don’t worry because it’s being celebrated again on June 1^st at a theme park near you.

 

 

 

 

And speaking of holidays, tomorrow is Memorial Day where we are supposed to celebrate and honor those who have died in military service for the U.S.

Unfortunately, over the last several decades Memorial Day has been turned into some kind of special retail shopping spree (like Black Friday) with everyone and their brother boasting about their Memorial Day Specials.

And more recently, we cringe at the thought of what our resident Brandon will claim for Memorial Day.

 

 

 

 

But that is precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.

 

You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.

 

 

 

 

Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.

Why?

Laughter is good for your soul.

And it is healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the threat of WWIII.

It’s even more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.

 

And please remember:

 

The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.

It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.

 

And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.

 

So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.

And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
