Saturday Rant…TikTok Patriot Act

 

The recent bill (which passed in the House) to ban TikTok smacks of the Patriot Act on steroids.

And that’s just what the O’Biden Neocons running the White House want.

 

On Tuesday, US Senator Pete Ricketts argued for a ban on TikTok saying the app and the Chinese Communist Party are behind the push of pro-Palestine content in the US.

He said pro-Palestine content “have more reach than the top 10 US news websites combined”.

 

He may be right about TikTok having more reach.

 

But what these fools don’t realize admit is that this information speaks on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party while the Biden administration is funding and encouraging the ethnic cleansing of Palestine?

 

There’s a lot to rant about here.

 

And today, Scoob Martin weighs in on the 9/11 effect felt from the Patriot Act.

Hi James. Every so often I fantasize that maybe one decent human being from Washington DC will take a stand against the destruction of our Constitution.

But, unfortunately, along comes a Bill (like the one to ban TikTok) and I realize that my fantasy is truly a fantasy.

Aside from the idea that politicians rarely have pure motives, this act has the potential to be more dangerous than the Patriot Act.

If you recall, the supposed goal of protecting American national security, the Patriot Act granted sweeping permissions to the federal government and the National Security Agency to spy on American citizens…with far less due process.

In addition to violating privacy rights and the Fourth Amendment, this new act is a blatant attack on property rights.

And it’s because, mobile device manufacturers and owners have every right to install whatever software they would like, as it is their property.

 China’s foreign ministry released a statement that this form of bullyism will backfire.

Because as censorship ramps up, public trust and approval of the U.S. government continues to plunge downward.

As a result, China and other countries stand to benefit.

Historically, when it comes to government censorship, the Chinese government is the gold standard. 

 

Ironically (or NOT…as you like to say) the American government is following in the steps of the Chinese Communist Party. 

 

 So, who benefits from this???

Google and Facebook aka Alphabet and Meta.

Because it will represent a huge decrease of competition in the social media marketplace.

 

What these fools fail to realize is how foreign cooperation in the global marketplace serves to spread the values of capitalism and free expression.

And, more importantly, free trade greatly reduces the risk of traditional warfare between states, resulting in greater global competition.

Unfortunately, Banning Tic Tok, like the Patriot Act, is most likely by design.

And will push us one step closer to global tyranny.

IT’S WHAT THESE EVIL BAS***DS WANT.
