Trump Supporters Still Believe It Ain’t Over

It’s becoming obvious that Trump Supporters Still Believe he can turn the election results around.

And even though it’s looking pretty grim for our Prez, you still see Trump supporters out waving flags and having rallies around the country.

FYI, I did a little research on the Insurrection Act.

And, instead of ending, Donald Trump’s legacy may have just begun.

Will Trump Take Action Based on the Following?

10 U.S. Code § 253 – Interference with State and Federal law

The President, by using the militia or the armed forces, or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy, if it—

(1) so hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or

(2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.

In any situation covered by clause (1), the State shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.

Conclusion

Trump Supporters Still Believe

So, it appears under (1) above that if any state denies the voting rights of any group of citizens within a state by virtue of a fraudulent election process, and that state fails to remedy that denial by due process of law within that state, it appears that the Insurrection Act covers the situation – based on the equal protection clause of the Constitution.

In other words, if the states do not protect the citizens from voter fraud, Trump is authorized under this act to take measures which restore those rights under the Constitution that were denied to any group within that state under the equal protection clause.

Bingo!

No requirement for martial law.
