In the real world we live in, you would go to jail for a long time if you did a deal in the private sector where a family member receives some benefit.
However, in today’s politics this is a standard operational procedure.
Hillary’s brother, Tony Rodham, had absolutely no experience in the mining industry. Yet he was awarded a lucrative mining contract after the Haitian relief debacle.
He was notorious for nepotism and used his Clinton connections in questionable business ventures.
Now, along comes Joe Biden’s son, Hunter – after getting kicked out of the Navy for testing positive for drugs – somehow manages to land a $50,000 per month job helping to run a Ukrainian energy company.
No experience required, of course.
This was a typical quid-pro-quo arrangement to benefit the energy company to the tune of $1 Billion.
Unfortunately, this has become rampant in American politics.
However, the Congress critters have gone over the cliff recently in their latest attempt to flip this into an impeachment action against Trump.
Taking action against Trump – without addressing HOW Biden’s son got such a job when his father was VP – is the ultimate corruption in today’s politics.
It’s all about protecting any semblance of dignity left in the remaining democratic presidential candidates.
Uncle Joe’s perversions of sniffing little girls was bad enough but this Ukrainegate should be his undoing.
You can Stick a fork in Bernie…he’s done too. And, like in 2016, he’ll get paid to ride into the sunset. Only this time instead of lake homes and fancy cars, he’ll get nurses and aides to help change his diapers.
The other circus clowns (Beto, Fauxahontas, Spartacus, etc.) will do as they’re told and try to ruin the economy to derail Trump.
The approaching Turbulent Times will shake the markets…but they also offer great opportunities for those with “ears to hear.”
