The intrigue and threat of Communist Russia destroying the freedoms and liberties of the American way, back in the 1960s, kept viewers on the edge of their seats every week for 7 years.

And every week the MI team, in the last few minutes of the episode, would somehow miraculously thwart the evil anti-Americans (they weren’t always Russians).

And, unfortunately, many of the characters we considered “bad guys” from back then resemble far too many of the Neocons we have running the White House today.

So much so, that you could say our Resident Brandon’s Mission Impossible is running amuck today.
