Normally I lay low when it comes to topics like school shootings. And it’s mostly because emotions surrounding these tragic events become overcharged while logic disappears.
They become politicized by certain groups for their personal agendas.
They automatically start screaming for more laws to protect everyone. And the blame always gets focused on the guns.
(Side note. * In 1995, Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people and injured over 680 with a bomb made out of fertilizer. Since then have you ever heard anyone calling for new laws restricting fertilizer? Yeah, me neither.)
The reality is you cannot legislate and change human behavior.
Only a fool would believe that a new law would prevent a crime. Criminals ALWAYS find ways to commit crimes.
Unfortunately, the suffering families get used and abused by both politicians and the fake news media. They know photos and interviews of grieving mothers increases their viewership and ratings. As far as the media is concerned, the ratings are all that matters.
It’s sickening.
And in the long run, we (taxpayers) get shafted when politicians use these events to push their personal agenda.
Bizarre is an understatement
A couple of weeks ago Congress was asking soap maker “Tide” to change their pod design so teenagers would stop eating them.
Now, since the Parkland shootings, the media thinks teenagers should determine gun laws.
Both instances are classic examples of trying to legislate behavior.
It simply doesn’t work.
Keep in mind these are the same people who work behind the scenes with the Wall Street elite 1% to help shape your perceptions about investing.
It’s a scary thought.
Instead of being frustrated by the media, find out the truth about what goes on behind the scenes. (HERE)
