Will They “Do the Lord’s Work” in 2021?

In 2019 – which seems like ages ago – Nancy Pelosi said that the Democrats “Do the Lord’s Work.”

LMAO!

Hey, Nance!  I’m no priest…but I’m pretty sure that late term abortions are NOT the Lord’s work.

Question:  Is impeaching a president – with only a few days left in his term – Doing the Lord’s Work?

Or is it a vindictive assault to block Trump from ever running for office again?

Goldman Sachs and the Lord’s Work

The first time I recall a prominent figure use the expression “Do the Lord’s Work” was back in 2009 when the banking crisis nearly brought the world to its’ knees.

After receiving the lion’s share of the Secretary of Treasury, Hank – “Tanks in the Street, Mr. President” * – Paulson’s $700 Billion TARP bailout of Wall Street, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein was asked what he was going to do with the money.

Blankfein immediately used the money to bail out Goldman Sachs and then all of his cronies that were financially linked to Goldman.

And he said they were “Doing God’s Work.”

 (Note*)  Paulson was a former CEO of Goldman Sachs. And his $700 Billion TARP bill was three pages long.

And no one was allowed to see what was in it.

Let that sink in for a moment.

After assassinating allowing Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers to go belly up, the first thing Paulson did was bail out AIG.

The seizure of AIG was in effect, illegal.  However, it was necessary in order to save Goldman Sachs from going under.

You see, Goldman was on the hook for AIG’s bankrupt derivatives and would have gone belly up as well had it not been for Paulson.

The Lord’s Work on Steroids

The 2008-2009 nightmare we all lived through was Goldman’s coup d’état.

It allowed them to eliminate many of their competitors and gained them direct access to the Federal Reserve coffers when they pressured convinced the government to make them and Morgan Stanley bank holding companies.

It was a move that fundamentally altered the landscape of Wall Street. (Read: The Vampire Squid Part 1 and Part 2 HERE)

But, Hey!  What’s a few hundred billion among friends?

And, of course, they were Doing God’s Work.

So, with global financial calamity hanging over our heads like the sword of Damocles, will we soon see the Wall Street/DC boyz claim they’re Doing the Lord’s Work in 2021.
