Growing up in a small town in the Mid-West was often boring. So, for entertainment we’d think of things to say in our English class like: “Who’da Thunk It.”
We did it to see if our teachers got aggravated.
They did.
And dear old Mrs. Unger would respond with: “That’s NOT proper English Mr. Vincent…and you know better than that.”
So, my reply of: “How’s come, Mrs. Unger?” usually made things worse.
But like I said before, small town/Mid-West/boredom in adolescence was fertile ground for juvenile creativity.
Ironically (or NOT) teachers back then took pride in their work.
And quite often it became a personal issue for them to see that you actually learned something.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case today.
Seriously, Who’da Thunk It?
Cue up today’s Math is Racist theme’s recent headline:
To Promote Equality, California Proposes a Ban on Advanced Math Classes.
No, I’m not making this up.
The California Department of Education is seeking to “Dumb Down the Brightest Kids” …all in the name of equality.
If you want to verify this absurdity, read the California Department of Education Mathematics Framework.
In it you’ll find gems like:
- The evolution of mathematics in educational settings has resulted in dramatic inequities for students of color, girls, and students from low-income homes.
- Teachers are encouraged to align instruction with the outcomes of the California ELD Standards, which state that linguistically and culturally diverse English learners receive instruction that values their home cultures.
Ironically (or NOT) this proposal is waaaaayyyyy more racist than the absurd claim that Math is Racist.
And these leftist progressive “Wokesters” are the biggest and most vicious racists of all.
Which is exactly why they always point fingers at everyone else.
So, in the name of “equity”, the proposed framework aims to keep everyone learning at the same dumbed down level for as long as possible.
(Mrs. Unger is rolling over in her grave)
And don’t expect the O’Biden/Hologram crew to speak out about this.
Why?
Because they’re beholden to the Teachers’ Unions and Boards of Education.
It gets worse.
This entire “Build Back Better” theme – to bring about the Great Reset – is dependent on a stupid/dumbed down population.
You must refuse to be part of it.
Instead, educate your kids how to NOT be a debt slave.
Otherwise, they might end up saying things like “Who’da Thunk It?”
And, while you’re at it, share some of our emails with them.
They might just thank YOU later.

P.S. And here’s a long overdue thanks to Mrs. Unger. She taught me the importance of putting more than two sentences together…In Plain English.
