"It's Not Just About Finance"

The Pope Setteth the Tone

It’s a rare occasion to see the Pope have a complete melt-down and expose a “mean spirit” from within.  But thanks to technology – on New Year’s Eve – the world got a glimpse of what to expect in 2020, The Year of Chaos.

I’m referring to a video of the Pope slapping a parishioner’s hand (not once, but twice) as she – like so many other adoring fans – sought the blessing of his holiness.

At best it was a shameful display of a man who’s supposed to be a representation of Jesus.

After realizing the world witnessed his surprising, un-Pope-like behavior – scowling as he walked away from the woman he slapped – El Pope made a half-assed apology by saying “So many times we lose patience.”

LMAO!

Sorry, Frank, your lame apology doesn’t cut it.

Jesus – the man you allegedly represent – was beaten, mocked, and crucified and NEVER lashed out at His attackers.  Instead He asked His Father to forgive them.

Ironically (or NOT) the Pope’s off-script apology came moments before the Catholic leader denounced violence against women during his first mass of the year.

LOL!

You can’t make this stuff up.

I’m not using this incident as a way to expose the hypocrisy of most religions.  (Well…maybe I am…kinda…sorta) But the once described “Cool Pope” just fired the proverbial “shot across the bow” for anyone with ears to hear.

You can bet that the holy rollers out there will accuse me of blasphemy for calling out the Pope.

However, this is a glaring example of what I’ve been saying about the Turbulent Times we are entering.
