Merkel’s Duplicity to Strengthen Ukraine for War

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted they used the Minsk Agreement to stall and help strengthen Ukraine for war.

If you recall, the Minsk Agreements were a series of international agreements which sought to end the Donbas war.

They were established and signed in September 5, 2014.

Ironically (or NOT) they were also set to expire on February 21, 2022…Russia entered Ukraine on February 24th 2022.

Last week interviews in German publications Der Spiegel and to Die Zeit, (here and here) Merkel admitted/revealed the Minsk Agreement was a stalling tactic that allowed the West to militarize Ukraine as an anti-Russian proxy and fortify it for an inevitable war.

Read that paragraph again.

In Plain English this is confirmation that the Cold War 2.0, just Got Colder.

And as of this writing, it’s difficult to find any coverage or analysis of this remarkable confession from the Presstitutes in English.

And that’s probably because they won’t admit that Putin’s actions – from the beginning – have all been centered around the West honoring the Minsk Agreement.*

(*Note: Berlin, Paris, the post-coup Kiev regime and Moscow were signatories to those accords.)

The astonishing revelations of Berlin’s/Merkel’s duplicity in its dealings with Moscow has simply increased the global divide we’re experiencing.

Strengthen Ukraine for War

Unfortunately, it will only get worse from here.

Why?

Merkel’s duplicity was a ruse intended to deceive Moscow and the Donbass republics while Ukraine rearmed and bombed the Donbas region in anticipation of the war that broke out in February.

So, thanks, Angie for destroying any trust that was made after the first cold war.

History shows how a measure of trust was essential between Washington and Moscow even during the Cold War’s most perilous passages.

And the Cuban Missile Crisis was resolved because U.S. President John F. Kennedy and the Soviet premier, Nikita Khrushchev, were able sufficiently to trust one another.

This trust no longer exists.

And now Putin and other Russian officials have made the lack of trust perfectly clear in responding to the publishing of the two German interviews with Merkel.

Is it any wonder why Moscow and Beijing have said repeatedly – since Joe Biden assumed office – that there is no trusting the Americans?

Gee, I wonder why?

Learn how this becomes a big part of The Political Chaos of 2023 in December’s issue of “…In Plain English” (HERE).

And share this with a friend…even if they don’t like Putin.

They’ll thank YOU later.
