The July HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME issue of “…In Plain English” is live and ready for your reading pleasure.
Here’s an excerpt:
…in the middle of the summer, we all reminisce of the carefree days of growing up.
Summer represented freedom, fun, vacations, picnics, reunions, baseball and other fun outdoor activities with families and friends.
Yes, the world was simpler back then.
However, the world wasn’t much different than it is today.
Huh?
It’s just that we didn’t hear as much about everything that happened around the world.
We had wars (Vietnam) assassinations (JFK) social unrest/riots (Kent State) Oil problems in the Middle East (Saudi/Israeli War) and wild volatility in the stock markets.
And back in the good ole days, we also didn’t have countless reminders/texts/emails/
So, when we compare the good ole days of “Hot Fun in the Summertime” with today’s world we’ll admit that technology is superior.
And although we’re living in Turbulent Times – just like we did back then – there are many opportunities for those with ears to hear.
