I’m Offended…How Dare You Use…

It didn’t take long for a particular Karen to tell me how she was offended and “How dare you use the word retarded” in the Sunday Funnies.

Well, Karen, I looked up the word “Retarded” in the dictionary and here’s what I found:

As a verb:  a simple past tense of retard

An adjective: characterized by a slowness or limitation in intellectual understanding and awareness, emotional development, academic progress, etc.

And as a noun:  people who are slow or limited in mental development.

And I’m fully aware how today’s snowflakes – who get offended at anything – have a meltdown over something they’re told to be offended about.

But no one gets offended faster than a white liberal on behalf of a minority who wouldn’t have been offended in the first place.

So, let me just set the record straight on what I’m offended about.

How Dare You…

“In Plain English” I’m offended by people who:

1. Want to deny me my right to freedom of speech
2. Constantly try to impose their viewpoints and or try to intimidate me if I don’t agree with their agenda
3. Think perversion/pedophilia is normal
4. Politicize tragedies like the Uvalde shooting

(Cough! Beto O’Rourke, Cough! Cough!) for political gain

5. Don’t take time to do their own research on events – like the Uvalde shooting – but instead rely on what the Whores-Of-Babble-On Presstitutes tell them to believe.
6. …and on and on and on.

BTW here’s the Homer Simpson/retarded meme that ruffled Karen’s feathers.

I’m Offended…

Suffice it to say that Homer Simpson is not a great role model.

But the point being illustrated in the meme is how the sheeple become obsessed with something without seeing the flaw in their thinking.

And if that offends you then that’s your problem.

Besides, in every issue of the Sunday Funnies we state:

The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.

It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.

So, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.

Like them or not (Karen’s) we still plan on publishing the Sunday Funnies every week.
