Chicago…Where Police Have Had Enough

It’s interesting to note how Chicago mayor, Lori – Beetlejuice – Lightfoot’s “do it or else demand” to be vaxxed was met by the police who, rightfully, have had enough.

And it’s more proof that resistance is not futile.

And just like Southwest Air’s pilots’ union – who told their CEO to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine – Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police has done the same.

Some may argue that FOP President, John Catanzara, was wrong by asking his officers to defy va((ine mandates that went into effect on October 15^th.

We say: “You Rock, Dude!”

Why?

In Plain English…once the police turn against the government, the reins of power will loosen.

The city was demanding that officers submit their vaccination status into a portal system by midnight on Thursday or risk entering into non-payment status.

Catanzara urged officers to refrain from submitting their personal data.

“Hold the line,” Catanzara said, noting that the ongoing harassment from city officials indicates a “low cooperation level” from officers.

“Show up for work and let them send you home for not submitting in the portal, but make sure you show up for work,” he warned on Thursday.

The union will then file a class-action lawsuit against the city for any missed wages due to the vaccine mandate.

Great Unwashed Have Had Enough

Catanzara made it clear that this display of mass disobedience is in direct response to Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s unwillingness to budge.

So, what does this mean for the city of Chicago?

Hard to say at this point.

But because the crime is off the charts Chicago is currently one of the most violent and lawless cities in America under Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

And before the summer ended, murders in Chicago surpassed a 25-year high that has not been seen since the crack epidemic.

Catanzara is confident that the city will be forced to act in under a week.

But at what cost?

The politicians are beginning to lose at their own game.

Huh?

That’s right.

It’s hard pretend to care about your constituents when you are willing to let the city fall into decay?

Bottom line…

The Great Unwashed have had enough.

And isn’t it odd that we haven’t heard squat about any shootings in Chicago over the weekend?

Hmmmm!

It would behoove all of us to take Catanzara’s advice.

“Hold the line.”

We’re winning folks.

And we’re seeing in real time that resistance is NOT futile.
