Wall Street has historically used what we call ‘Annoying Acronyms’ to confuse investors.
And it’s also an industry “Secret Language” that gives them another advantage over the average investor.
Example:
So, let’s be honest here.
How many times have you seen reports referring to the “FOMC” or “FRB” and wondered what those acronyms stand for?
FOMC = Federal Open Market Committee.
FRB = Federal Reserve Board.
And even when you know what they mean, the Boyz use them to hide what their real motives are.
On the surface, it sounds like they want everyone to know what they’re doing or planning.
But there is nothing OPEN about the FOMC.
These Boyz know well in advance what they’re going to do.
And they use Annoying Acronyms to placate the masses into thinking everything they do is OPEN.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact, most of Wall Street’s Annoying Acronyms are promoted through their bought-and-paid-for media presstitutes.
Why?
Using their “Secret Language” is how they get you to Zig while they Zag.
Example:
EBITDA =Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortization
Translation: It’s how companies fudge their numbers to allow the guru/analysts to give conflicting opinions about the stock. (i.e., “It’s an exciting time to buy. Or, It’s a piece of crap. Sell now.”)
And you can rest assured that they will be doing the opposite of what they tell you to do.
Confusing and Annoying Acronyms
But not all Acronyms are confusing and Annoying.
Example: TPTB = The Powers That Be
Translation: The 1% Elite “Club” including the FED.
Suffice it to say that when you know and understand what most of the annoying acronyms mean you’ll be better equipped to “read between the lines” when the so-called gurus speak.
And for that reason, we’ve added a tab on our Home Page on our site called… wait for it… “Annoying Acronyms.”
It’s totally FREE (HERE).
And you can access it directly, (HERE).
Or, go to our Home Page (HERE) and click on the tab next to the FREE REPORTS tab.
Like any other subject or business, the more you know about how it works, the better you will be at profiting from it.
And for a more in-depth look at how Wall Street operates behind the curtain, be sure to read our monthly newsletter – appropriately titled – “…In Plain English” (HERE).
Share this with a friend…especially if they don’t understand Wall Street’s ‘Secret Language.’
They’ll thank YOU later.
