What I find interesting and annoying about Black History month is how the history of slavery always seems to default to the responsibility of America.
Ironically (or NOT) today’s modern-day slave owners (Cough! Democrats, Cough! Sharpton, Cough! Jackson, Cough! Cough!) never miss an opportunity to rant about how we should be responsible for reparations.
So, before you start calling me a racist, let’s take a look at the origins of slavery in Africa.
And how it morphed into the responsibility of white Americans.
Black History and Slavery
Keep in mind, you won’t hear much of the following during Black History month.
However, long before slaves appeared in the USA, the black African chieftains – who used to conquer and kill enemy tribes – found out that it was smarter NOT to kill the tribes.
Instead, they realized they could capture and sell their enemies to the Muslims for a handsome profit.
The Muslims (mostly Arabs and Turks) then became responsible for taking 12.7 million slaves out of Africa.
Unfortunately, everyone seems to believe they all got sold to America.
The facts, however, tell a different story.
- 47% went to Brazil and Portugal
- 26% went to Great Britain
- 11% went to France
- 10% went to Jamaica
- The US got 2.3%
The difference in perception is HUGE.
We look like the bad guys while all of the other countries got a pass.
Why?
I dunno.
As a result, the idea conveyed is that we – the USA – are responsible for slavery.
Some other interesting facts are:
- We’re the second nation in the world to end slavery.
- Ironically (or NOT) we’re the first nation in the world to ban the slave trade.
- We’re the ONLY nation where whites fought against whites to free the blacks. (Civil War death tolls range from 450,000 to 850,000).
Contrary to what a certain former first lady(?) said, we are NOT a nation that was built on slavery.
And we ARE the only nation that celebrates Black History month.
Don’t let the divide and conquer tactics of the Whores-of-Babble-On Presstitutes keep you from knowing the truth.
Learn some Black History that THEY never want you to hear in February’s edition of “…In Plain English” (HERE).
And share this with a friend. They’ll thank You later.
